Picnic Time

Remember this fabric? I used up the last of it to make this top. This is the first top I made following a Japanese pattern book I got at the bookstore. Naturally, I don't read any Japanese, or even really follow or understand the markings in pattern books. I'm pretty much internet taught.... but I found it surprisingly easy to put together. It's made for a toddler up to 100cm (my girl is only 80cm) and the neck line fits over her head just right; it looks a bit wide on - but I almost like the effect. What do you think, she looks like she's ready for a picnic!
