Pink Petals

Hi hi. This is a little special something I made for the little girls big birthday party. I completed 95% of the garment two weeks back but then failed to make the button holes because I was not sure if I wanted snaps or button holes...and mainly because I was worried I would make a mess up and create a big hole in the fabric! This fabric is also a cotton-muslin blend, (like the this one) but the strands are a weaved a bit looser I think so it is really really easy to tear...

But yay, nothing disastrous happened and five button holes were made which allowed me to try the dress on Hannah. Actually, she only tried it on the day of the party, so I'm glad it all turned out so well. :) Yay again. The party was so fun, but it was a very very busy weekend for us...I have to say I am a little more than pooped out from it all. 

Ultimately, it was just a celebration and it we felt lucky to have it with friends & family.. and I asked a friend to help out by photographing the whole afternoon because I wanted to make sure I had plenty of good photo's for memories to show her later on (Good job, btw & thanks a bunch again!) We were sad not to have my sister & rest of my family here to attend, but I told my little  girl that they were all missing her and wishing her a Happy Party from afar. I should have some more pictures of the event up soon..........for now, I really am falling asleep! Nightnight.
