Turtleneck Top
Here is the first of many to come (trust me...many to come as I bought lots of this type of fabric!) I mentioned before if was hard to find knits / stretchy fabric but I went by the fabric market about 2 weeks ago and aside from being very distracted by all the costumey type of fabrics (tutu's, animal prints, faux fur) I did find a new booth that stocks ribbing and lots of other type of stretch fabrics. There is not a lot of pattern or prints though, mainly solids...so I started off with this one. It doesn't look like much, but I"ve found that it's these type of items that a a must have piece in any girls wardrobe.Anyways, it was fairly simple and I am actually quite tempted to make something for myself out of this fabric....It feels like something I could lounge at home in on those cold rainy days.
Girls can never have too many turtle necks. It's cute, I love the colour. Unfortunately I could never wear it, and neither can my little girl, without looking very ill, but I wish I could!
