Winter Vest

Hi hi everyone, how was your weekends? I completed this little (yes, reversible) vest just in time for the change in weather. The inside is a purple plaid flannel to which I added batting just to thicken it, I'm not sure it matches that well with the black cotton fabric, but I just wanted to cut something up. I think everyone who likes fabric can understand that. The pocket placement is a bit off too...and once again very large.

It came in very handy as we went out onto our front balcony to clean up a lot of my dead pot plants! It wasn't my fault that they died....(or maybe it was) but it was simply too hot for them out there and I had nowhere else to move them. So, after weeks and weeks of looking at them, the little girl and I decided to clean it up after lunch one day. I also convinced her to put on the scarf to keep her warm (even though it wasn't all that cold) but it was windy, plus I just wanted to get my picture! Hope you had a good weekend. 

ps, it's perfect for little boys too - just change up the colours!
