Purple Plaid dress

Plaid dress /w Pockets

You've seen this fabric before, it was the lining of the winter vest.........and now it is this! A dress with pockets that I want to make again and again.(In fact this is a 2nd one, the first one was a denimn one but is very very large and I wanted her to have one now, so I sat down the next night and me it again).  I've never made a "square" top bodice before, and I had to get the iron out this time to really press the fabric down. The iron is actually a very useful tool and  I may have to use it more.  The fabric is wool / flannel and the lining on top is from this dress.

There is a typhoon passing by this week and so it has been raining non stop (all day) and it's been heavy rain too........so for there hasn't been any chance for walks or making her put this on. But soon I hope. I'm not a big fan of how humid it is with all this rain.  How is everyone's week going......any progress on Halloween costumes?  I really want to take her out, but it's not exactly tradition in Taiwan....plus Mommy has not done any sewing yet................Hopefully something will happen.
