Lilac Jumper & Bow Purse
Hi everyone, how was your weekends...? We had a fun time visiting a friends new cafe, and of course the best of all was that the children had a lot of fun playing the new kids kitchen set they had just put together.
We also just stayed in and indulged in an original Disney movie "Snow White" which was just nice for everyone, esp me since I remember watching those growing up!
Here are two items made over the last few days, the top is a just a simple top pattern but with a big kangaroo pouch. I just made it up as I went along, the fabric is french terry cloth which is nice & soft for children. But it sheds like crazy, so be ready to vacum. :)
The bottom one is a little pouch/purse. It's a really simple item to make, and a really cute accessory for all the little girls. I can imagine all kinds of way to decorate it, a flower, some buttons, even dazzles...but I really do like the bows these days (I know they have been trending for some time now) but so simple to make and very girly still. I also added simple snap button on the inside.
