 Red Dress & Hair Bows

This little red dress with bodice detail is the same pattern as this dress, except I changed it up by adding the bodice details. It was a very last minute decision that she must wear something Christmassy...and I'm glad I did it. Although, I have started to notice I like to make things the night of a big event...guess I will have to learn to plan ahead a little better in the new year :)

I had some left over from the dress, its a red wool which I bought almost two years ago but just didn't make anything with it. So I made some little hair accessories to match her dress. 

I like things like that, they are so versatile to share between mommy & daughter. 

We had a lovely Christmas lunch with friends who have become our support & family here in Taiwan. 

My family is all still back home in South Africa, but my husband & I have been living here for almost 8 years now, and with a little girl in our lives..I have also now started to call Taipei home.
