Navy Polka Dot dress with collar

It's been almost two weeks since the earthquake hit in Japan, and still our heart goes out to the people and the land of Japan. There are various ways to help / donate / even craft and then raffle off the proceeds. 

There are also numerous amazing Japanese bloggers I love to read & follow, but so far everyone seems to be okay......... the main thing I can do is to keep praying for the families and people of Japan. 

I wanted to share this little navy polka dot dress with a peter pan collar with everyone. 

It was intended to have three quarter sleeves, but the dotty pattern could be a bit visually too busy, so I decided to keep it simple. I am not sure if I made the peter pan collar "the right way" because I don't do it often, (the only time was here) and I kind of forgot which way to start...I did iron on an interfacing which made it more stiff but also made it a bit hard to flip over..... however I think it turned out  to be very simple and a bit dressy up too.  I put a plain pearl button in the back and I can't wait for the next special occasion & warmer weather for me to see her in it. Hope everyone is well, Love
