Thanks to those who wrote in for the Pay it Forward post, and your gifts are in the making..........It actually was very inspiring to have to think of gifts to make for people you do not know. Of course, a few worries come in here and there (is my sewing straight enough...can I give this out...is this a cute / useful gift??)

 But...the excitement in making fresh and new items overrides that, and knowing that it will go somewhere out there is kind of fun too! I hope the gift-packs will  make you just as happy &  giddy as I am right now.

I did mention we are going away...very soon actually, we will be heading back to California on Monday  for a wedding and also a mini break. I am very much looking forward to it (of course, our bedroom is a mad mix of suitcases and clothes and also some random other items....ipad / knitting / books...)  

Also, I am never one to stay on track..so along with packing I am as you can tell..still sewing and also baking!!  Here is a simply recipe for blueberry scones, do you like scones? I certainly do after I found how easy it was to make it!! Haha, plus I really do like them! 

Here it is:

1 and 1/2 cups of four 

1/2 cup of butter (melted or room temp)

1 tsp baking powder (some recipes don't add it, but I usually do)

1/2 cup of sugar

1 egg 

+ in your blueberries 

(sometimes we use chocolate chips too!)
