Beanbag Cover
For ages now, my husband has been asking me to make a cover for our beanbag. Mainly because our previous dog used to lounge all over it, scratching and puffing until it was perfectly comfy. Well...even after a of couple times out to the dry cleaners, it just didn't seem new & fresh anymore.
I can't believe I put it off for this long, mostly thinking I wasn't interested in making anything not cute and small & rufflely. Well well, I finally made it and it took me less than 3 hours total time from beginning to end, and I am totally in love with the fabric! I'm never 100% confident in picking fabric because you never really know until the item is completed, but in this case - I am very happily surprised. It's cotton but I added a thick interfacing on the top part since that's where we'll be sitting, the bottom is simply a two pieces sewn over lapping each other. It came at a great time since my girl likes to use it for everything these days, from bouncing on it, dragging it around and even munching her hand full of cookies on it.........see. Hope this week brings along some more pleasant surprises!
