White & Black

I decided to make my little girl some "homey" clothes....that means clothes she can get as dirty as she likes in! Gosh...sometime when I see her eating, I really do wonder if she is a "little girl" at all...hehee anywyas, I made the white one first and liked it so much I went right ahead and made a second one.

As is my experience when making something a second time round -- I run into more problems than the first one! I wonder why, this always frustrates me and causes me to wonder if I just got lucky with the 1st one.
So anyways, even though I got the stripes all matched up..I did make a mistake on the back of the top. I figured no one will know but it does kind of bother me......sewing is so much about precision and I really am not that kind of person, but still I do it anyways! I haven't been able to get her to wear them since she is really not allowing me to play dress up with her too much these days. Hopefully I'll get her in them and take some pictures soon.

We have a special visitor heading our way next week and are really excited for just a week of hanging out and play time. For now, wishing everyone a happy weekend!
