Mixed pieces
Before I went away to have the baby,
I sewed as much as I could - as fast as I could.
Making clothes is one way I show love for my little girl,
I really truly love it as.........Each time I will say to her "I have something for you, do you like it?"
So I tried to "pre-sew" some "gifts" for her as I knew I would be away from my machine for a bit...
Here they are,
A simple long sleeve top with detail.
It's a nice lilac knit cotton & I knew I wanted something "circular" to decorate the top with,
(esp. after her birthday and all those lollipop decorations)
and it ended up being this cute heart / lollipop decoration
I also made a fabric scarf - since it's not completely cold yet
but its' still fun to accessorize a bit on windy days
It's left over fabric from this tote bag,
I just added some red ric rac to match on the ends
And lastly a pair of grey leggings
At times I find her clothes a bit hard to match up
(Maybe too many patterns?)
I always ended needing some basic pieces,
What better than a pair of grey leggings to wear under a dress
or a lovely bright coloured coat....
For now,
It's still not back to sewing yet....but soon I hope.
Love
so cute! I want to be your kids.
