Last autumn outfit ~ Dress with lace detail

Here it is, the last little outfit of autumn.

I found this lovely cotton at the fabric market the last time I went (which was toooo long ago)

in the middle of summer I think, and finally I've had a chance to draft it into this dress.

Its a simple bodice but I added just a bit of detail to the shoulders by adding trims of lace.

And I love it. It immediately turned it from a simple dress into something that could have been passed down from my grandmother...(hmmm, maybe)

But I really do love how one little thing can change the look of an entire outfit.

Just like a few bracelets :)

I also added the little green button which as you know I like to do.

One little thing can tie up and entire outfit.

There she is holding my hand as we walked home one day.

It's probably going to be too cold to be dressing like this in just a few more weeks,

so I figured why not now.
